How the integration works

1. Simple configuration via the ServiceNow store

‍

Getting started is easy. The integration is delivered through the Crowe Cyber Economic Risk Analyzer, a certified ServiceNow Store application developed in partnership with Crowe LLP.

‍

1. Application dependencies – GRC: Profiles; and ServiceNow Performance Analytics - Premium‍
2. Simple install – A ServiceNow admin can install the Crowe Cyber Economic Risk Analysis Application directly from the ServiceNow Store.‍
3. User defined roles – Granting access to the application is easy.  The admin just needs to assign a user to the x_crho_cera.admin role for CERA Admin privileges or to the x_crho_cera.manager role for CERA Manager privileges.‍
4. External systems connection – This integration does require X-Analytics, Web Services.  However, a dedicated integration user is not required for ServiceNow Cyber Economic Risk Analysis.‍
5. Testing the configuration – In X-Analytics, navigate to the Integration tab, add a new integration, give it a name, and specify which business units you would like to view in CERA.  Save the integration and notate Client ID and Client Secret that are provided upon save (you only have one chance to do this, so be sure to save these values, as you will have to restart the process otherwise). In CERA, navigate to the Properties in the All Menu, provide the X-Analytics API client ID and API client secret.  Navigate to Scheduled Jobs, search for the X-Analytics Profile Updates Job, and select Execute.  This should verify your successful integration.
