Vault: save, annotate, and share your artifacts

VideosVault: save, annotate, and share your artifacts

Introduction

Vault is your artifact library in X-Analytics. Save any artifact you build, add your own notes, and share it on your terms.

Bob Vescio, Chief Innovation Officer of X-Analytics, walks through Vault, the artifact library inside X-Analytics.

What is it?

Vault is the artifact library in X-Analytics where you store every artifact you create, in one place, so each one is easy to find and reuse as you keep working.

Vault is managed by you. Your view of Vault is yours alone until you decide to share an item with people inside your organization.

How it works

  • Run your analysis in Insights. When a chat returns an interactive metric card, choose to convert it into a shareable artifact.
  • Click the three dots on the artifact and select Save to Vault.
  • Open Vault from the file icon in the upper right, just left of your initials, to see everything you have saved.
  • Preview any item at any time. It stays available to you going forward.
  • Set access on your terms: keep it restricted to you, open it to anyone at your organization, or restrict it to named colleagues.
  • Generate a link, with a share window you set, to send an artifact to people inside or outside your organization.
  • Edit a saved artifact with the pencil icon and add notes to individual items, marking inherent risk as limited when the profile scope was limited, or noting that a data breach exposure relates to loss of PII data.
  • Select Save changes. Your notes stay with the artifact every time you return to it.

What you walk away with

  • One library holding every artifact you build in X-Analytics.
  • Access that starts private, opening only when you are ready.
  • Shareable links for audiences inside and outside your organization.
  • Artifacts carrying your own context, so whoever reads them knows exactly what the numbers refer to.
