What it does
The CIS CSC 8.1 Upload agent is an AI agent in the X-Analytics AI Toolbox that turns a single file into a refreshed CIS Critical Security Controls profile, in minutes. You find it under the Compliance tab, alongside the other framework upload agents.
It works from one of two inputs: the X-Analytics template, or an evidence file you already have. Either way, X-Analytics reads the file, interprets the scores, and maps them back to the CIS Controls framework for you.
How it works
You start the agent and choose your path:
- Upload an evidence file: a report from a firm like Deloitte, EY, or EisnerAmper. X-Analytics reads it, identifies every control alignment, and converts the scoring, zero to five, zero to four, letter grades, or percentages, into the percent scale CIS CSC uses.
- Upload the X-Analytics template: an Excel file where you score every subcontrol offline, then upload when you are ready for the most specific result.
X-Analytics confirms the source scale with you, then maps each finding to the right control. CIS Control 1, Enterprise Asset Inventory, scored 3.5 on a five-point scale, arrives as seventy percent inside X-Analytics. Where a report covers a control but not its subcontrols, X-Analytics applies the control-level value across them. The same runs across all eighteen CIS Controls.
